Description:  EfficiencyOne is issuing this RFP to select multiple highly skilled and qualified Service Organizations, as licensed by Natural Resources Canada, to deliver the Efficiency Nova Scotia New Home Construction Service, throughout the province of Nova Scotia. 

The Efficiency Nova Scotia New Home Construction service (NHC) provides expertise and recommendations to participants building a home in Nova Scotia. These recommendations pertain to initiatives that can be implemented during construction that will minimize the energy consumption of the home once it is operational. These recommendations and resulting reduced operating costs produce lasting savings which make NHC homes a more affordable option for Nova Scotians.  EfficiencyOne is therefore looking for Service Providers having the following qualifications/experience:

  • Licensed as a Service Organization with Natural Resources Canada;
  • Capable of issuing:
    • EnerGuide for New Homes (EGNH) labels;
    • ENERGY STAR for New Homes (ESNH) labels; and
    • R2000 labels.
